    Just discovered you guys have set upa forum, well done. I have been popping in to the website for acouple of years now but haven't been about for alittle while so please forgive my tardiness.
    I have a couple of Renaults in my stable currently, 3 actually. A 2001 renault Scenic Rx4(AWD hatch), Renault R18 GTS wagon(1647cc 5 sp manual) and 1969 Renault R10 (1190, 4 sp manual).
    The R10 started life as a basic 1108cc 4sp and I have replaced the engine with an R10's' block with R12 77mm stroke crankshaft and R12 GL 71.9mm pistons, giving 1250cc as opposed to the original 1108cc, given the R10's' head the compression ratio will be close to 10:1 and with the cam profile I have chosen it should be a swift little machine when I get it mobile.
    The R10's' is a completely Australian car, unique to us as Renault Aus had a few cars leftatthe end of the model runs in 1970 and obtained some R8's' heads and inlet maifolds, twin choke downdraft weber carbureter and exhaust extractors to the standard engine. They also reground the camshaft to amild sport profile raising the horsepower to about 65hp from memory, a fair rise over the standard engine.
    I have owed a few other Renaults over the years, another R18 GTS, 3 R20TS hatches and my original Renault was an R17TL, 1973 R1312 model, which started my love affair with the marque. There has been an R10 and R12 for parts in there as well.
